Fluttershy
A humanized version of Fluttershy, who is absolutely adorable and very much like me personality-wise. The main outfit is an oversized sweater for her to disappear into with relatively loose pink pants and yellow-toned sneakers. Lots of cosplayers take Fluttershy in a girlier direction with sundresses and mary-janes, but I wanted a much more casual at-home-taking-care-of-her-creatures look. The wings and ears are both made of craft foam and Flex Bond adhesive. Both are removable - the wings so that the sweater is washable, and the ears so that I can put them on or take them off to coordinate with the other ponies I am cosplaying with at the time.

Variant: "hipster"
After wearing Fluttershy to conventions for a year, I wanted to have some fun by changing it up a little. So I re-accessorized the costume, carried around a parasprite instead of Angel, and was "Hipstershy" for G-Anime. It's just too bad that those glasses look so terrible on me ~_^
Currently when I wear the costume, I tend to use some of the "hipster" accessories without going all-out.

Fluttershy is camera-shy So far I don't have any Fluttershy-specific videos, but since I keep wearing the costume, she shows up on my (and other people's) con videos a lot, like in my Anime North montage, my Con-G video, Soul Patch's Con-G interviews, and the Video Ninja's ConBravo montage. |
