Modeling
I have no illusions about being a professional model, nor do I have aspirations to be one. However, every once in a while the opportunity presents itself, and I can't say "no" to a fun project!
Various mini-shoots
Just like the title says.

February 2014 brought with it another invitation to model for the OCC, this time with Kevin Chan teaching about lighting in non-studio space, Wojtek Zlobicki with a traditional studio lighting set-up, and Rafal Kiermacz doing a creative light painting session. I didn't have clothes as cool as in 2012 ;), but I think I still looked good in my LBD for Kevin's set and a Robin Sparkles-inspired 80's type outfit for the light painting, which was a lot of fun. Makeup for the day was by Victoria Fedosoff.
Lighting workshop with the Oakville Camera
In the winter of 2012 I was invited to model for the Oakville Camera Club again, this time for a strobist-type lighting workshop which was instructed by Kevin Chan. While there were several different locations and lighting set-ups in use, I didn't get a chance to change outfits this time, so there's less variety than when I've modeled for the club previously. However, the clothes I did get to wear were pretty damn cool if I do say so myself, and were on loan from the Bored Collective (another project of Kat Ferneyhough - more of her creations are below in the Magdelina gallery).
I have included photos from many of the photographers who shared their results - you can definitely see their range of styles! You might also note that they run the whole range from un-edited to heavily air-brushed :)

Studio workshop with the Oakville Camera Club 2011
In early 2011 Kevin Chan ran a "studio photography" workshop for the Oakville Camera Club, and I was asked to be one of their models for the day. Several of the photographers there were kind enough to send me some of the images afterwards ^_^ My hair for the day was done by Lacey Lambert; make-up and clothing was my own.

Dr Sketchy's Anti-Art School
Due to a scheduling conflict, Dr Sketchy's Toronto found themselves without a model at the last minute for Session 69 - and that's how I ended up on stage at the Cameron House. The theme was "Angels and Devils", and so I wore my Gabriel costume and Katherine Piro was done up as a demon. Various other accessories were added for the second set, and a full costume change for the third ^_^ Some costume parts belong to me (my gun was made by Featherweight), some belong to Katherine, and some were on loan from performance artist Christabel.

Magdelina
The artist behind Magdelina, Kat Ferneyhough, is a friend of a friend, and I have been fortunate enough over the years to have gotten to model her creations several times, including at Toronto Alternative Fashion Week and for a project on display at the Textile Museum.
