Metal Gear Solid
Meryl Silverburgh
This costume was made to go along with Doctor Terawatt's newest Boxdacon costume for the Anime North Masquerade.
All of the clothes came from a thrift store, but almost everything was altered to suit the details of Meryl's costume. The belts were painted (apparently nobody makes those military-style belts in black anymore) and their clasps replaced, I painted the boots for a more accurate colour, and the knee-pads are painted as well.
All of the pouches/pockets/holsters are made from scratch, as were the gloves, armbands, and knife (my gun's from the dollar store).
It was a blast hanging out with Boxdacon on Saturday and doing the masq together... Being Meryl really helped sell the joke!
